Smart element snapping

Snap to anything.

Point at a button, a field, a row. Glint detects it, attaches your annotation to it, and keeps them together.

    4The page scrolls

  • Glint reads interface elements, not pixels.
  • An annotation keeps its anchor when the window moves.
  • Nothing is recorded, nothing leaves your Mac.

Radial Halo menu

A menu that disappears from your thoughts.

Halo is the radial menu inside Glint. It stays out of your way until you need it, and it never covers what you are talking about.

  • It is born under your pointer

Hold the shortcut and the ring opens where you already are. No toolbar to find, no window to move.

  • The chosen tool leaves the ring

The active segment steps out and takes the accent colour, so you can see what you are about to draw with.

  • The capsule keeps the active mode

Draw once, or stay in the tool. The capsule below the ring shows which of the two you are in.

Beautiful annotation styles

Same message. Different styles.

The same arrow, four personalities. Pick the one that fits the room, from a design review to a live demo.

  • Minimal

    Clean and precise

  • Neon

    Bright and bold

  • Gradient

    Colour in motion

  • Sticker

    Fun and friendly

Same message. Different styles.

Pointer, tools and modes

One shortcut away.

A light around your cursor, tools that snap, and modes that clean up after you. Everything opens from the Halo, or from a shortcut you choose.

  • Arrow and text

Point at a button and put a word on it. The mark stays on the element.

  • Pointer

A spotlight, ring, ribbon or veil around your cursor, so the room follows your mouse on screen.

  • Ellipse

Circle anything on screen. The ellipse snaps to the element under your cursor.

  • Highlighter

A translucent stroke over a line of text, as on paper.

  • Solo mode

Only your latest annotation stays on screen. Draw the next one and the last one is gone.

  • Fade mode

Annotations disappear on their own, from one to ten seconds. Nothing to erase.

  • Your palette

Seven colours of your own, or a new one for each shape.

  • Your shortcuts

One key per tool. Draw without opening a menu.

Works across macOS

Same tools. More impact.

Glint draws over any app on your Mac. Nothing to install on the other side, nothing to configure per app.

    Explain your code

Point at the line, not at the whole file, and let the mark follow the scroll.

FAQ

Questions and answers.

What is Glint?

Glint is a screen annotation app for macOS. Draw over any app during a presentation or a meeting: each mark snaps to the interface element under your cursor and follows it when the page scrolls. Highlight your cursor, circle a button, let notes fade on their own.

Does Glint work in any Mac app?

Yes. Glint draws over any window on your Mac, including the window you share in a video call, and the people watching have nothing to install.

What does "snap to elements" mean?

Glint reads the interface elements of the app under your cursor, such as a button, a field or a row, and attaches your annotation to the one you point at. The mark then follows that element when the page scrolls or the window moves.

Can I highlight my cursor during a presentation?

Yes. The Pointer puts a light around your cursor so the room follows your mouse on screen. The Spotlight is free; the Ring, Ribbon and Veil styles, with their size, intensity and trail, are in Glint Pro.

Do annotations disappear on their own?

If you want them to. In Fade mode, each annotation fades out by itself after one to ten seconds. In Solo mode, only your latest annotation stays on screen. Otherwise annotations stay until you clear them.

Does Glint work in Zoom, Google Meet and Teams?

Yes. Glint draws over the window you share, so the people on the call see your annotations in the shared screen. They have nothing to install, and Glint needs no plug-in on either side.

How much does Glint cost?

Glint Free costs nothing. Glint Pro is €15 until 11 October 2026 as a launch price, then €24: a one-time purchase, VAT included, no subscription. Everything is open for the first 14 days; after that Glint stays free with Rectangle, Arrow, Pen and the Spotlight pointer.

Which macOS version is required?

Glint requires macOS 14 or later. It ships as a notarized DMG, outside the Mac App Store.

Does Glint record my screen or need an account?

No. Glint records nothing and needs no account: annotations stay on your Mac, and nothing leaves it.

Annotations that stick.

Show, don’t scroll. Point, highlight, explain, and let every mark stay where it belongs.
